Simmons Black Label Beautyrest = More Mattress Night Mares

My husband and I decided to buy a new mattress. Simmons Black Label Beautyrest gave us the impression that we would get the best night sleep ever. $3,000 product is good right?

Wow,
so stressful and painful was buying a new mattress . Just after a week or 2 of owning this expensive bed we started to experiance some stress and back aches. We immediatly called the merchant about our bed. They came a few days later and inspected the mattress, then 2 weeks later we were told it was defective. There were 2 large craters were me and my husband were sleeping, also a very large lump had formed.

We were given an option for a refund or an exchange, and for a worser part in my judgment I decided to give the product another try. It did not take long at all. A few nights later the mattress stunk and our backs felt like they were going to break in half. I mean, it really had an odor. This was the worst 2 month experiance ever. We ended up with a Sealy Ultra Plush $1,500 mattress after the stinky mattress was returned. We love it and have never slept better!

Serta - Before The Big Dissapointment.

This is the review I had made about the serta perfect sleeper after a month. I said that it was one of the best mattreses that I have owned and slept on. One reason was because it felt like you were floating in the air, yes thin air all night. It is a great product when it's new.

You cannot feel your partner with this bed. I also got a great deal at my local furniture store. Including delivery, a queen mattress and a split box it totalled to 700 dollars. One thing they tried to pull on me was to buy a mattress cover for 70 dollars. Ended up buying the exact same one for 20 dollars. Overall this mattress would have been great if they actually stiched the product properly. After a while the bed just starts to fall apart.

Serta Warranty = False Promises

We bought this mattress (well under a different name at the time of purchase) 5 years ago. Within 3 years we had to replace it - big fight under warranty to have it replaced. The springs were coming through the mattress and we were told by the company we bought it from that this was normal!

Needless to say I laughed at the guy and had a rep from Serta come out and see the mattress. They were prompt and did replace the mattress under warranty. Now 2 years later we are having the same problem again. The company we bought it from came out yet again and told us the same thing.

I am going to have Serta come out again and hope they will honor their warranty. If they do honor their warranty I will fight to have a completely different mattress (I am quite willing to pay the difference), I don't want this mattress again! 2 mattresses in 5 years - ridiculous!! I wake up in the morning with such a sore back and legs I can hardly get moving in the morning.

One Awful Experiance With A Serta Mattress!

I bought this mattress 2.5 years ago and it still, has the 10 year warranty. The problem I have with this is that both sides of mattress are sinking while the center remains to be firm, when you are sleeping on the bed, it kinda feels like a hill. I Called the warranty representative and he came to our house house and advised that because there were some "stains" they could not do anything, therefore the warranty was voided.

We do have 3 children that sleep with us when ever they are scared or on stormy nights etc, and they did have a few minor accidents on the mattress. Though we clean them right away, it is a fact of life with kids. The stains are not what is causing this mattress to be defective. It is the bad quality of the springs on the side that are making it a defective mattress. Serta uses the excuse that the stains have ruined the medal springs which is what has led them to be defective.

This seems a bit extreme to me but that is exactly what he said. I'm just going to take it with a grain of salt and never ever buy a Serta product again. If you are reading this, I would recommend you read all teh warranties down to the print. They make it long and boring as well as using scattering usless words around but you should read all warranties down to the little print . By the way, when I bought the bed, the salesman said "10 year warrany, no exclusions".
